Some folks sense a bad tilt here: where's the AFL-CIA spokespersonage to give...balance?
Seems this dipsy doodle by madame Pelosi has elements of the Kos-tal artillary engaging in some "cross battery" firing. One side, battery Z:
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2006/12/4/01326/8078The other side, battery A:On Wednesday, December 5, freshman representatives will be subjected to indoctrination in the economics of fucking the people who sent you to Washington ... by Robert Rubin.
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/12/4/95838/6772Blah blah blah, you can supply the rest. --Though "Lord of the Files" is good, isn't it? Not a bad analogy for the Kosniks. Grappling for the conch, worshipping the dead guy....Some folk with an actual knowledge of Nancy Pelosi ... and of how Congressional events are set up and scheduled, have tried to stem the Lord of the Flies-like hate frenzy with fact injections, but the problem is that the left in this country has been so tainted with an unthinkingly reflexive, corrosive cynicism...
One hardly needs to wonder which battery has the heavier guns -- and which will prevail.

Phoenix Woman and her self-indulgently hysterical supporters would make good wingnuts. There's an angry lubriciousness to their prose and their, "Oooh! Snap!" commenting.

The comments on Phoenix Woman's pro-Nancy post are quite fascinating. They're completely unintelligible. The site has collapsed in on itself like a neutron star -- a couple of thousand self-referential in-jokes. What a delightful development.
